Desjardins to be named GM of CFL club on Wednesday

Glad to see the site back, Mark...as the last writer for OttawaFootball.com on the Renegades, I am looking to see how they build this organization and that they build it the right way. I have a template for how a football organization has to be built and I am hoping Jeff Hunt is not relying on the Ottawa 67's people to be the front office staff for the RedBlacks. that's the way it is right now in terms of how OSEG is drawn up. The next big thing, of course, will be the hiring of the head coach and we saw how critical that was for the Renegades. The biggest mistake they made was the hiring of Joe Paopao and that killed the team from day one. So I will be keeping a close eye on who they hire. Right now, I am staying positive and like the approach from OSEG but now the real work starts.
